Runelite is a free open source client for Old School Runescape. A large majority of the osrs playerbase uses Runelite for it’s game-enhancing features. Some of the Runelite features, images taken from Nightmare zone notifications (for us AFKers out there).Idle notifications (for us AFKers out there).In-client grand exchange where you can check your offers and look up prices.Displays where your last death location is and on which world it was.Showing the total value of your OSRS Bank and its tabs.Displays your attack style at all times.Clickboxes to make Agility less frustrating.Kind of like OSbuddy does, but completely free. Runelite can really enhance your osrs experience, if you haven’t already tried it, you should. No you cannot get banned for using Runelite. In fact, on NovemJagex posted a new post with the following quote “We’ve added confirmation that RuneLite have fully complied with the rules within this statement.” Jagex always warns players of the use of Third Party Clients, however they do not ban users that use Runelite as a client. If Jagex finds Runelite to be unacceptable in the future, they will send out another news post regarding the subject. I’m sure the Reddit and Youtube community would make sure that everyone knows ahead of time.Īs of right now, Jagex does allow Runelite. That same post also states exactly which features Jagex deems unacceptable. It’s simply a third party client for osrs that is used to enhance your game with some extra features. However beware that you don’t download it from the wrong website. Runelite should always and only be downloaded from its official website. You should ONLY download Runelite from the official website: Is Runelite safe in 2021? However you should beware of imposter sites that try to get you to download a malicious version of Runelite. Runelite is an Open Source Third Party Client which means anyone can check out their code on GitHub for malicious intend.
